Tour of SMWD’s Trampas Canyon Reservoir and Dam

OCWA members are invited to join Santa Margarita Water District (SMWD) for a special tour of the Trampas Canyon Reservoir and Dam on Thursday, May 7, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Santa Monica Water District

The Trampas Canyon Reservoir and Dam plays a critical role in SMWD’s integrated water management system and is a key component in helping the District recycle nearly 100% of its wastewater. This guided tour will provide OCWA members with insight into how SMWD leverages infrastructure, innovation, and long‑term planning to support sustainable water reuse.

We hope you’ll join us for this informative and engaging site visit. Space is limited, so we encourage early registration.

Tour Details

When: Thursday, May 7 (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Departure Location: SMWD Headquarters, 26111 Antonio Parkway, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688

Attire: Closed‑toe, flat shoes are required. There will be minimal walking.

What to Bring: Bottled water, if desired.
